We often will buy a company and have to continue the product development of complex assemblies. It is difficult to work with an entire SolidWorks assembly that was made to different standards. We either try to work to their old standards just for that project or spend time to convert teh files to our standards. Either approach is messy and costly.

Does anyone know of software for converting a SolidWorks project to new standards? We'd want it to:

• Change all the file properties to ours.
• Convert drawing formats, design tables, and BOMs to our formats.
• Catch duplicate components, including hardware, and use our components instread.
• Flag issues that need to be addressed manually.

Anything like that out there for us?
