I appriciate some insight into this issue,

Here is the example, 

original file "Flange 200x20", where I have the part and the associated drawing file

I need to make another Flange, "Flange 20xx20x50," with a bore inside the same flange, but as a Branch.

Here is the question - 

When creating a branch, I create a branch for both drawing and part, but then sometimes it works and sometimes the branched drawing refers to the original part, and vice versa? Any ideas, is theSOLIDWORKS3dexperiancebranch correct way to create just part as a branch and then make a drawing for that?
