Hi, new to Solidworks,

I have an Knitted Surface which appears to have worked, however when I select the faces of this, only some messy parts of the face are highlighted.

Does this mean the Surface Knit is not actually a solid body yet?

And how could I make this body solid so that I can then Boss Extrude off it?

I've also tried the Offset Surface feature, to no avail due to the sharp angles of the shape.
