I was shown a way to make the sheet metal and weldment bom use equations. I was able to get the bounding box length to replace the length value in the bom but i cant get the description to change from "SHEET" to the plate thickness

I have a file from someone else that shows it works but i cant replicate it to my drawing. Theres a screenshot of the exact text they used

UPDATE: It wants to pull the description of the part file properties not the cutlist properties. How do i specify use cutlist description?
