Is there any way to keep excel from converting fractional items in a BOM to a date when you save the BOM table out to bring into excel. It seems to do OK if it is the size of a screw such as 1/4-20 but if it's just the size for something like a washer that's called out as 5/16. It will change the 5/16 to 16-MAY. Very frustrating if there are a bunch of callouts like this. We export out the BOM on all of our jobs for material costing. We do this with a pick on the BOM & then do a save as an Excel file & it does it whether we pick the .xls or the .xlsx file type. Also tried it with the .csv and .txt extensions and get the same thing. Solidedge or NX doesn't have this issue when we do the same thing.
