I need to digitalize a paper copy drawing from a house.
I've scanned the paper drawing views to PNG and imported them as sketch pictures in a part, place the views in accordance to the planes and it's sort of a 3D model.
I don't realy need 3D in this job so I make a drawing with some 2d views where I can sketch over the picture lines.
When finished I'l hide the sketches with the sketch pictures.
In my opinion, sketching over the picture in a drawing is more powerful then in a part environment when looking to line thickness and color change ability.
What do you think ?
The rectangle beams from the floors I like to linear pattern so I make a simple block, color the lines and there it is.
When I linear pattern, insert or copy, with ctrl button, the copied ones became gray colored.
Putting them in a colored layer is an option but is also acting strange especially with line thickness and it's so AutoCAD.
Reassign the layer will change the line color but not the line thickness, editing the block will show the assigned line thickness but returns when exit the editor function.
Why the blocks are not the same as they belong to be ?
What am I doing wrong ?
Greetings !
