Hello,
I want to buy a new simulation Workstation.
Which Workstation is the better of this 4 configurations:
- Dell Precision 7820: Intel Xeon Platinum 8256 3.8GHz, 3.9GHz Turbo, 4C, 10.4GT/s 3UPI, 16.5MB Cache, HT (105W)
DDR4-2933 1st - Dell Precision 7820: Intel Xeon Platinum 8168 2.7GHz, 3.7GHz Turbo, 24C, 10.4GT/s 3UPI, 33MB Cache, HT (205W)
DDR4-2666 - Dell Precision 7820: 2 x processors Intel Xeon Gold 6244 3.6GHz, 4.4GHz Turbo, 8C, 10.4GT/s 3UPI, 24.75MB Cache, HT (150W) DDR4-2933
- Dell Precision 7820: 2 processor Intel Xeon Platinum 8256 3.8GHz, 3.9GHz Turbo, 4C, 10.4GT/s 3UPI, 16.5MB Cache, HT (105W) DDR4-2933 1st
For the rest we plant 96 GB (for mono-processor or 128 GB for dual processors) RAM, Nvidia Quadro P4000, and M.2 512 GB SSD
We will simulate most of the time FEM, free fall and CFD.
What do you think ?
Thank's for helping.
