I have a cone I modeled using Lofted-Bend with X number of bends, now I want to try and duplicate cutting 1.5" in from an edge and bending that part (tab) down. I would like to try and keep it all within the sheet metal options with out completely extruding a cut and then adding a bend after cause I would like to have a nice flat pattern if possible.

Image 1 and 2 show the sketch line of what I would like to cut and image 3 show it on a rolled part that was extrude cut then add in after but it won't flatten any more.

I've tried to Rip the sketch line and also a split but neither worked out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
