Any reason why revison level. info. cannot be pulled from the SW part files and added to the .step filenames, since it goes through the process of opening each file anyway in a new window or instance of SW?  

Also it would help if the 3D Experience was locked out of the processes in the scheduler entirely. 

The function needs revisited by the SW group for use by production facilities.

 ALL vendors who receive 3D files request Rev level for verification.  

Standard or common practice

This should be without the user having to do the macro programming the SW team should have done.
