We recently updated from SW2006 to SW2009 (can not go to 2011 yet since our sister company has not upgraded), and while everything went great, there is one thing that is bothering us.

Before, when we would "Make Drawing from Part/Assembly" and select our border, SW would automatically start in the Model View command, and have the front view pre-selected for placement on the drawing.  Now, we have to manually go to View layout, Model View, select the model we want to use for the drawing (even though we use the Make Drawing from Part/Assembly command), then we can start placing our views.

While not a game breaker in any form, it is a quality of life step backwards that I would love to try to fix.

Any ideas how I can get this working as it did before?
