When adding a route via “auto-route” and passing it through a clip, the route is broken into multiple “route segments”. Thus, to add wires to the route you now now to make multiple picks. When adding a route by manually adding a spline, passing it through a clip does NOT break it into multiple segments, so adding a wire(s) requires only a single pick. Also, when you pick the later route, the entire route highlights making it easy to identify. Picking the former only highlights the picked segment so you cant be sure where the route actually goes. Seems like adding routes manually is the better choice. Why this inconsistency?
