Hi, 

I have to design a scissor mechanism. I already have the whole assembly ready and the motion analysis runs without any problems. However, I want to import motion loads to the base of the structure and analyse stress, displacement etc. When I do this, weird loads are being imported. The model is symmetric (mostly, if not fully), but the displacement occur only on one side of the structure. It also reaches values higher than 10mm, sometimes even a meter. I expect maximum displacement to be about 3mm. 

Has anyone ever faced the same or similar problem?
