Have you noticed that the Assembly Visualization tool changed its behaviour in SW 2018?
Instead of providing the report and leaving the components' appearances unchanged, now it paints them by default (the vertical slide bar is activated by default). In SW 2017 the user controls if and when the components get to be repainted.
This is a huge problem for troubleshooting large assemblies, because the graphics triangles need to be regenerated. I am working right now with an assembly that takes minutes, every time the graphic regeneration happens.
WHY????? Why has the user lost control over the software in this case? Who decided that the software should take decisions on my behalf in SW 2018?!?!?!?!?
Can you reproduce this behaviour on SW 2018 SP1.0, or is just my system? Please let me know.
