I am trying to create an assembly of metal tubes.  The metal tubes differ from each other by 2 variables: diameter and length.

e.g.

Tube 1: 3mm in diameter, 5cm in length

Tube 2: 2mm in diameter, 7cm in length

Tube 3: 1mm in diameter, 7cm in length

I could create a part with many many configurations of different diameter and length.  But is there an easier way other than creating hundreds different part configurations?  Is it possible when inserting a part for solidworks to ask what diameter and length to set the new part to?  I am using education version of Solidworks 2009.
