I have an assembly with 2 components. The first is a 24MB subassembly and the second is a 5 MB subassembly. There are 6 mates holding this together--all to built-in planes. The top assembly is about 56MB and takes a long time to save. What drives this? Why does it take 56 MB to record 6 mates? This kind of screws up my notions of how SW operates.
