I tried to add an assembly feature, (for example: an assembly revolved cut) as a design library feature and it was successful.

But I cannot open that library feature in SW, I am getting the following error. I tried this in 2012 and getting the same issue. That means, this feature cannot be done in assembly.(please correct me if I am wrong).

My question to the SW is: A part feature can be added as a library feature, why an assembly feature cannot?

When I tried to drag this from the library folder to the assembly graphic, I am getting another message as below
