I am contacting you regarding a recurring issue concerning sub-assembly management within a large assembly. The observed behavior suggests an inconsistency in the main assembly's file path resolution, indicating that it is retaining an old internal reference.
Details of the Observed Behavior:
- Upon opening the main assembly, a sub-assembly is displayed as outdated and shows an older/intermediate design version.
- If an attempt is made to open the sub-assembly directly from within the main assembly (using 'Open Sub-Assembly/Part'), the old version of the sub-assembly is still loaded, even though an updated version exists on the disk.
- The only way to view the correct version is as follows:
- The sub-assembly is opened individually from a folder (and is confirmed to be the correct version).
- The main assembly is then opened.
- In this scenario, the main assembly correctly loads that sub-assembly.
- Upon reopening the main assembly (after closing and saving all files), the issue reappears.
