I have an assembly which I am looking to perform a drop test on. It is quiet a large assembly and was looking at excluding some of the components from the analysis and adding a distributed mass instead. I know this is possible within the static tests, can it be done within a drop test?

I am pretty new to simulation so trying to find me feet. Any good tutorials / examples about on drop/impact tests?
