Hello,

I have a large assembly I have created for simulation. Now due to it's size, the original meshing attempts were taking forever.

I figured I could just draw a rectangle and cut away a significant chunk of the assembly and then try to mesh. However, while watching the 'Mesh Progress' box, I notice it is showing failed items that are in the cut section.

i.e. Say I have a car assembly and I only care about the front of the car up until the middle of the hood. SW is still trying to mesh the trunk lid although it has been removed via 'cutting' off the rear of the car.

I feel as if I am taking the wrong approach to this. What would be the correct approach?
