So I recently got the student version of solid works on my personal laptop and I am trying to load up my assembly and I notice in my folder that my individual parts don't look right, they appear to have the right file format but wont load right so I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if they do, do they

know how to fix this. The attached photos show what I'm talking about, as I look at them again almost looks like they have some sort of notepad look but the file type looks right, I also have Solid works 2016-2017
