I am trying to create a LH version of this sheet metal channel (as a new part) - for the life of me I can seem to get this done (follow instructions and video).

seems when I choose mirror part (insert) the sheet metal option is grayed out, if i select break links to original part  option the sheet metal copy appears but it still shows a a body (no sheet metal or cut profiles)

I have also tried from multiple faces etc... What the heck am I doing wrong?
