I can say thus far I hate the new Photoview in 2011. I have never had a product in SW that I have not liked in some way, but removing the active preview of the screen brings this back full circle to Photoworks all over again. Removing 360 and bringing it in SW I thought was a good idea, because it gave us model updates on the fly, but now it just sucks IMO. I am back having to guess what my model is going to look like instead of getting that nice on screen preview.

OK I know they have the Preview window you can launch, that helps... only if you have a 2nd Monitor. Without a 2nd Monitor the window is always in the way and cumbersome to work around. Again this is like Photoworks all over again... I hope there are others out there that are not liking this new look and feel??

Another crappy thing is decals. I have a model I brought in from 2009 to 2010, relocated the Decals and saved the model and the Decals stayed. However Photoview made the decals very light and hard to see. So I made a copy of the file and opened it in 2011. Same process it could not find my Decals so I relocated the Decals, but still that was not enough. Click Preview and it can't find any of them. You point them back to the location and 1 it does not remember, and 2 the render does not display them.

I hope these items get fixed soon... or when 2011 is released I am going to request Modo for my renderings.
