I am trying to work with some structural items from the toolbox and am getting very frustrated. I can’t seem to get them manipulated into any position

I want. I’m about ready to forget the whole mess and build my own structural components from sketches. I’ coming from CadKey so I’m still trying to

figure out the thought process in this software.
