Dear SolidWorks community,

I hold 6 certifications in Solidworks and have an year of experience as a design engineer. Currently I am pursuing graduate studies and looking for internships. However, I realized my certifications themselves do not make any impression. I have applied to several design jobs and haven't heard back from any of them. Even at the career fair, when I explained my proficiency in design skills, people just listened (did not react much). Though I obtained those certifications for my personal satisfaction, I thought that they would make some positive impact in my future career challenges. Now, I am starting to think they are not really of much worth.

Is there anyone with any positive stories regarding the certifications? If yes, please share your experience on this post.
