Are Real World Interactive SolidWorks Simulations Possible??

I am working for a company in which we design (In SolidWorks) and fabricate Barge Spouts. The Barge spout is controlled by a 2 axis joystick up, down, left, right and also has a toggle switch button on top of the joystick which controls extending and retracting the Barge Spout Chute.

As a Sales/Marketing Tool I want make a computer joystick function as it would in a real world application but using SolidWorks.

For example, customer moves the joystick to the right the "SolidWorks Modeled Barge Spout" moves right on the computer screen, then customer wanted to hit the extend toggle switch on the joystick and the barge spout chute extends and so on. The key is whatever the customer does with the joystick it acts as if he/she doing it in the "real world."

IS THIS POSSIBLE TO DO SIMPLY?

I am open to any ideas, examples, tricks, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help!!
