I need to create an assembly using one simple part file and a sub-assembly (a panel with small components).  When I move the part file into the sub-assembly the appearance of the part change to color of grey.  Not sure what happen.  Then I reversed it and the sub-assembly (mainly the panel) change to grey.  Does anyone know what happened?  (sorry I can't upload or show the image)
