Cadtek Systems (UK) are looking for an experienced CAD user to join our technical support team. Ideally candidates will have experience of using SolidWorks (or similar 3D package) in industry and a degree in mechanical engineering, computer aided engineering or similar. Primary roles will be as follows:
Support Hotline | Provide comprehensive support for the SolidWorks product suite (including Simulation, Product Data Management and technical documentation software). Support is delivered using telephone, remote access tools, video presentations, webinars and where necessary site visits. |
Delivering Training | Deliver classroom and on-site training courses from the SolidWorks training curriculum. This will include basic training to new SolidWorks users along with more advanced training to experienced users. |
Account Management | You will be responsible for the technical management of a number of key customers. This will include regular communication and site-visits to ensure a smooth initial implementation as well as ongoing upgrades and development. |
Secondary or Optional Roles: | Customisation From time to time we are commissioned to deliver additional functionality via the SolidWorks Visual Basic Application interface. It is envisaged that after a period of training and usage the support engineers are able to generate and implement additional script based functionality. |
Pre-sales Demonstrations Deliver standard and customer specific product demonstrations, to show the products’ capabilities and also how the potential end user may apply it to his business | |
