running solidworks 2010 SP 5.0.

when i right click on a component in the feature manager tree and click the "appearance" icon, the dialog box pops up in the middle of my screen, nowhere near the appearance icon. as soon as i move the cursor off the icon the dialog box disappears. I have a work around, but wondering if anyone knows why my dialog box is acting a fool.
