Api Help/Documentation broken

Hi everyone,

has anyone else noticed that the SolidWorks API Help website recently got a visual update? While the new design looks more modern, it unfortunately seems to have broken a lot of the site’s usability and formatting.

Some of the issues I’ve run into:

  • Code examples are often poorly formatted or missing indentation, making them hard to read or copy.
  • Whole interfaces and methods are formatted incorrectly and are hard to read now
  • Tables and parameter lists are misaligned or overlap other elements.
  • Navigation is slower, and the left-hand index sometimes jumps or doesn’t expand properly.
  • When changing the version from one year to another, you now get sent back to the "Welcome" page. (e.g. when trying to find out which version of a method is suppported for which SW version, you can no longer just switch SW versions in the top right corner.)

I rely on the online API Help every day for development work, and this change really hurts productivity. It’s much harder to quickly find and read documentation now.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problems? And does anyone know if there’s a way to access the old version of the API Help (or download a complete offline copy that still has proper formatting)?

Thanks in advance. hopefully someone from Dassault sees this and can pass the feedback along!
