2x22-D12

It's on a drawing I received from a client.  It came to me from Korea but I believe it originated in Kuwait.  It has a leader pointing to rebar, so I assume that the D12 refers to the bar diameter (Ø1/2" or #4 bar here), but I have no idea what the 2x22 means.
