My company says I'm due for a new mobile workstation, to replace my current mobile workstation. Our company uses Lenovo as a supplier for our computers, so I'm locked into what Lenovo offers.
Here are the specs of the one I am looking at:
Processor: 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8750H 6 core processor (2.20GHz, up to 4.10GHz with Turbo Boost Technology, 9MB Cache)
Memory: 32GB DDR4 2400MHz
Video Card: NVIDIA Quadro P2000 4GB
Drive: 512GB Solid State Drive PCIe-NVMe OPAL2.0 M.2
OS: Windows 10 profesional
We will most likely jump to SW2018 soon. We tend to delay upgrading by a few years for various reasons. I don't typically use realview graphics. It says it passed with limitations (see notes). The notes say this The DCHU driver is listed for specific hardware in which the traditional drivers no longer work. For information on the DCHU driver please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/develop/getting-started-with-universal-drivers. Any idea what that means?
Anyone using this, or close to this? Any comments on performance?
