SW2023 SP5 - I see this issue in many assemblies I work on and I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's just Solidworks being buggy. I'll have an assembly with several configurations and some of the immediate children only need to be unsuppressed in some of the configurations. 

My usual approach is to go to the config a part needs to show in and use hotkeys assigned to 1. Suppress in all configs and then 2. Unsuppress in this config. Sometimes that works fine. Other times I'll right click and use Configure Component to work across multiple configs. 

My issue is that I'll set this and then switch to another config where I expect the part to be suppressed now, but it won't be. Even if I literally just closed the Configure Component menu (after clicking Apply and then Ok) and it showed the component suppressed in this other config. Reopening the configure component menu sometimes has a subset of my previous selection, sometimes it just shows no suppression at all. 

If I tell it again, sometimes a few times, to suppress the components along with some combination of rebuilding and switching configs, it will eventually work, but is there a specific workflow I'm missing that can actually guarantee this feature works as expected? Do other people not see this issue? Seems to be particularly bad on large assemblies, but that may just be that it causes more frustration due to slower loading times and more configs.
