I was in the middle of a drawing, clicked to add a M6 counterbore to my part, and a very brief window popped up saying something about Ansi Metric. After that Ansi Metric disappeared from Hole Wizard. I uninstalled Solidworks (2023 sp 01), re-installed. When into settings and updated the file location for Hole Wizard. Double checked that Ansi Metric was selected in the Hole Wizard configuration and... you guessed it, Ansi Metric still doesn't show up in Hole Wizard.
The other odd thing is that several months ago the save function changed its behavior. You know when you close out a part, Solidworks asks you if you want to save? Saying yes does not actually save the part. Clicking on the "X" again results in Solidworks asking again if you want to save. You have to mouse over to the save button, click on it, then click on "X" to close the part. The weird thing is that uninstalling/reinstalling the software did not fix this either.
Any guesses as to what is going on?
