I would like to get some opinions on analysis software to use.  I am a new hire at a company and just to give you an idea of what we do.  We design and manufacture service elevators that arw rack andn pinion.  I am new here so I don't know all the anaysis that they do but I guess all the stuff needed when dealing with strtuctures and welded struacture things of that sork.  They have been doing beaiscally everything on paper and one of my tasks given to me was to figure out what anaysis software to use with solidworks to optain the results.  I am pretty new to solidworks so I really don't even know what alaysis softwares are out there that can be used and which one would wuit my needs best??
