At SWW13, I was in the hands-on seesion for Circuitworks.  Our Altium users have been exporting stp files for us to use in our assemblies, and any changes to the board have come from verbal requests between ECAD and MCAD users.

After showing our main board designers how we can import ECAD data into SolidWorks and exporting back into Altium, they don't see anything gained from this capability.  What is the value added by using CircuitWorks?  Is it just in order to generate a basic 3D model for our assemblies, or will it help us communicate across design software during product development?
