it seems there are no layers in part mode.  I think it would be nice, but for for now an alternative will do.  I have imported an outside company step file and it has some axes that are necessary to the part (I cannot delete or suppress w/o losing half their part.  I was hoping to put on a different layer and turn off from the rest of my axes, but alas, cannot do - any work around?  Just makes for a rather messy environment (goes into large ass'y with multiple configs) to be working in and trying to grab correct axis w/o a lot of zooming around.
