Hi,
I'm trying to simulate the air flowing through the external surface of an airplane fuselage. As I do not want to simulate the whole airplane, I've sectioned the airplane and created a hollow tube (1.5mm thick) with 12m lenght and 3.7m diameter.
My main goal is to simulate the impact of solar radiation, outside temp, and outside minimum air flow, to the components inside little shell (shaped like a turtle shell) attached to the top of the airplane fuselage (green shell).
What I've done so far, was created an external analysis, and created this:
I want to validate the data I'm getting, and want to make sure I can 'clip' a section of the airplane fuselage, and simulate the air flowing through the airplane, hence the surface with the inlet velocity... Could you please comment on this approach?
Thanks in advance,
Luis
