I'm trying to learn about API programming and am having some issues with basic functions.  I'm trying to follow the API tutorial within SolidWorks to modify the candlestick but no macro files are produced.  I have VS2012 and am running SolidWorks 2014.  I have written may VS C# projects without issue, but am new to SolidWorks API.  Any help would be appreciated.

After recording a macro the Save As function acts like it saves the file, but no file is produced.  With the Automatically edit macro after recording option checked I receive an error that "撒撒 was not found".

Do I have a language problem somewhere?
