I have a feeling that this is impossible, but i have a irregular shaped sheet metal part here. Originally it was created from splines, but i found that SOlidworks was having issues utilizing sheet metal features with the spline, so i manually went over the splines with 3 point arcs. THe issue now is that i have to put slots and tabs on this thing.The slot and tab  feature dosen't seem to like it so i resort to the old fashioned way where I unfold it, add the tabs, then refold it. However, once i add the tabs, it won't re-fold. Is there a different technique where i can add slots and tabs on this irregular shape? One the second image, where the red arrows are pointing is the sheet metal body that refuses to fold after i add a tab.
