Advanced Part Multibody Lesson

There was some feedback from the Woodland Hills Training Preview that the Multibody lesson in Advanced Part could use some slimming down.  One idea was to provide existing parts with sketches wherever possible.  This would include the Protective Screen and the part from the first case study.  I've come up with a couple options for sketches for the first case study I'd like to propose:

Option #1:  Contours for the 1st two Extrude features.

Pros:  Simple and doesn't distract from focus of the lesson.

Cons:  Still a lot of sketching required for the part.

Option #2:  All contours for the Right Plane.

Pros:      Still relatively simple.

Could suggest using Flat Tree View to access sketch easily for multiple features.

Provides opportunity to review the differences between contour and region selections.

Cons:    A sketch is required on the Front Plane before using the final contour.  This might be confusing.

Option #3:  All contours for the Right and Front Plane.

Pros:  No sketching required.  Contours can be used for all features until Lugs are inserted.

Good use case for Flat Tree View.

Cons: Contour selection might distract from the focus of the case study - multibodies.

These sketches don't give a good representation of what the finished part will look like.

Option #4:  Use full Front and Right views from an imported DWG.

Pros:     No sketching required.

Demonstrates good use case for Flat Tree View.

Provides opportunity for future supplemental content on 2D to 3D.

Cons:    Might distract from the focus of the lesson.

Might be too complicated for beginner students.

I've attached some sample parts in case you'd like to try out these options.  Let me know what you think!
