I want to add a saddle to a pipe, this is PVC - the saddle goes over the pipe and provides an additional outlet, much like a tee. However unlike a tee, the pipe is continuous and the saddle just clamps over the top.
There doesn't seem to be a way to do this without breaking the pipe. If I put two cpoints in the center of the larger (3") pipe, going outwards, and a cpoint at the outlet of the 1" pipe, and a rpoint in the center, it looks correct but the pipe gets split in the middle. How can I do this so the saddle will seat on the larger (3") pipe, but not split it? If I were to delete the two cpoints there it won't go on the pipe.
I've attached a picture.
