I developed a part file with the skeleton sketch approach (SSP). A number of of the features were created in context of an assembly containing the SSP - standard stuff.

Recently, to mimic the production approach where this part would be a casting blank, I inserted this part into another part (Part-in-Part) which then resides in the SSP assembly structure. Today I need to add a feature which references the Skeleton sketch... but now realize I cannot edit from within an assembly parts within other parts.

Does anyone have thoughts on how I might unpaint myself out of this corner?
