Hello All,
I simulated a cuboidal body made of a polymer for temperature distribution. This body was placed on a Copper plate heater and was heated to 70 DegC. Then, I measured the temperatures on the bottom edge and top edge to get the difference in temperature (dT).
After that, I did the same thing experimentally and measured the dT for the experimental model. When I compare the computational model to the experimental model, I found that there is a difference in the dT values and the max error percent ((Computational dT - experimental dT)/Plate temp) is 7.7% at 70 DegC plate temperature. I was wondering if there is an acceptable error percent range or something when you compare 3D Modeling & the actual Experiment. Can someone help me with this? If you have some kind of reference to this, please post it here.
Thank you!
