I'm making a concept C-hook (for sheet metal coil handling) and i'm wondering how to determine the max. acceptable displacement? As you can see in the attached picture, the max. displacement is 9.414 [mm]. the length of the lower arm is 1500 [mm]. Stresses are fine btw.
