Hello everyone,
I’d like to recreate a hose in a CAD model. I’ve also attached an image to help you visualise the profile more clearly. I’d like to recreate this hose with its lamellar profile in a 3D sketch. The problem is that as soon as I switch to the 3rd plane, the lamellae can no longer be represented as a single feature, and the programme refuses to execute features such as the ‘Curve-Controlled Pattern’. However, I don’t want to create a new feature for each plane just so I can pattern it. This would mean I’d have to create multiple patterns and features, and I believe there must be a much simpler way to solve this. Does anyone have any ideas on this, or do you understand my problem?
It’s also important to note that my profile is not a helix, so I don’t want to draw it using a helix sketch.
Thank you very much for your reply and help!
