Hi guys

I am trying to take a 2000 dwg 3d model and convert it to a solid works asm.

I have had luck converting one layer at a time into a sw part but all of them at once turns the sw part into a bizzare abstact art display.

Do I have to import each dwg level one part at a time and then start an asm and mate them one at a time?
