Hello,

I am new to solidworks and Im trying to learn about asseblies. I created one part extruded to 1000mm.

and now I need to create assembly where will be 2 (or more) this parts where first will be 1000mm long and the second will be for example 1200mm.

When I edit part and change extrusion to 1200mm, change it first and second, too, and I dont know how to setup, when I want to change only second. Configurations are not very good because I need to edit extrusion sometimes to 1158mm, sometimes to something else (i dont know exact extrusion depth). is there something like this, when I insert part to assemly, solidworks ask me for some atributes of part? profile will be the same for all these parts but I want to change extrusion depth everyone.
