Hi folks,
I'm trying to model a 1911 pistol, and I'm having some trouble getting a few features to look right. I think part of the problem is that the drawings I'm using weren't created with CAD in mind. My current part is the hammer, and I'm having trouble with three main features: 1. The half-cock cut (detail A in the drawing), there's something wrong with the hooked notch angle, but I can't seem to find what I'm missing on the drawing. 2. The radius at the tip of the lever (where your thumb would press), mine doesn't curve properly, but I'm not sure how to draw the path for my swept cut to get the desired result. 3. The 'Alternative method to knurling' in the bottom left corner, I was going to try a pattern, but I don't think the drawing has enough information, also, I can't tell if the cuts are supposed to go straight across (parallel to the top plane, or if they're supposed to follow the curved surface). I'm hoping someone could either confirm there isn't enough information to fully model this part without extrapolating, or possibly model the part and send me the file so I can see how they tackled the problems. I've attached the drawing I'm using, and my part file. Thanks in advance!
