I have a technical question

I have 14 years of experience working with CATIA Software.

And I have just started learning SolidWorks.

When assembling in CATIA environment, if we import standard parts with STP format, they can be easily edited. in fact, we can import assembly with STP format, and then, open new window every parts and start to edit them As we need.

But why not have this capability when we import a STP format of assembly, to SolidWorks?

I know there is a solution that I do not know.

could you guide me in this respect?
