I applied originally back in 2018, but the minimum computer specs I was provided with were only the installation requirements and not the minimum required to run the software.
As a startup company, I was then stuck in a position of having software that I couldn't use and due to lack of funds, I couldn't afford to build a new computer until after the entrepreneur license had expired.
My var then went in with the hard sell and tried to pressure me into investing £50k into software that at that point had been unable to trail.
Nearly 12 months later, they are still sticking to their guns, in the circumstances I think it's extremely poor customer service to the point where it wouldn't really matter how good the product is, the customer service is so repulsive that I wouldn't feel comfortable investing in solidworks works products.
I'm trying everything I can to make out a business case for investing, but for as long as solidsolutions are playing blame games, I can't do anymore to resolve the issues.
A simple apology for the complete failure of the initial entrepreneur license would have gone a long way.
In comparison, I recently trialed Ansys fluent, I had some issues with their training material being out of date. They apologized for this and as soon as the material had been updated they provided me with a replacement trial.
